Design & publishing
Every part a real book needs
Mark a chapter as a preface, a prologue or an appendix and it takes its place: front matter numbered in roman, the story in arabic, each part named in the book's language.
Part names come out right in English, French, Kreyòl, Spanish, German and Portuguese — “Avant-propos”, “Remèsiman”, “Anteportada”.
Exports that are ready to use
Pending tracked changes are never printed as if accepted, and the publishing check tells you if any are left.

Frequently asked
Does the AI rewrite my book?
No. Every finding is a suggestion you apply or dismiss, and an applied fix can be undone. Tracked changes from a co-author wait for your accept or reject too. Nothing changes your manuscript without your tap.
Can I really write on my phone?
Yes. The phone layout is the full studio: chapters, formatting on the keyboard, review, comments, design, cover, preview and export. Add it to your home screen and it opens like an app. Tablets get the binder beside the text.
Which AI model reviews my chapters?
In early access the agents run built-in automated checks — long sentences, unsourced figures, mixed spelling, repeated words — clearly labelled “Sample” and free of credits. Model-backed reviews, with Claude among the providers, are switching on; the app will say which one ran every review.
Which languages can my book be in?
Any. The interface is in English; books in English, French, Kreyòl, Spanish, German and Portuguese get their book parts named in that language, and the Écrivain Prépa series above was made in French and Kreyòl.
Can I get my manuscript out?
Any time, as PDF, EPUB, Word, Markdown or HTML, depending on your plan — and Markdown on every plan. It is your book.
Is my unpublished manuscript used to train anything?
No. Text is sent to a review provider only when you run a review, and only the chapter being reviewed. Fonts are self-hosted in the studio, and the installed app keeps no copy of your manuscript on the device.
What happens if a review fails?
The credits are refunded automatically and the failure is shown as a failure — never as a clean chapter.
Is it finished?
Not entirely, and the “Honest status” section above says exactly which parts are coming. Writing, review, design and export work today.
